SYNOPSIS:
An estranged family comes together to celebrate the birthday of the family patriarch (Stephen Costan) after years of self imposed exile from his anger and hate. Secrets are revealed and home truthes exposed as the family re-introduce their lives to one and other over a sombre day of food and fighting.

Shot on the Sony Z1P HDV camera in an astounding 2 days, Terminal Bliss could boast to be the first complete feature in Oz shot on the, then brand new, Sony HDV format. It was certainly a learning curve, diving headfirst into a new format certainly had it's pitfalls when it came to post-production. Premiereing on Friday October the 13th 2005 at ACMI, the film went over well with the crowd and for the following three years it toured festivals world wide to receive moderate sucess.
